Submit Your Gear
Have quality outdoor gear you're no longer using? Send us a few photos and some basic information.
Most gear we accept is sold on consignment. We handle the inspection, pricing, photography, listing, customer questions, and sale, and you keep 50–65% of the selling price, depending on the item's value.
We'll review your submission and let you know whether it may be a good fit for Wood Duck, along with a preliminary recommended selling price. For select gear, we may also offer to purchase the item outright.
One item per submission, please. Have several pieces of gear? You can submit another item when you're finished.
What You Could Earn
-
$50 to $149.99
You keep 50% of the final selling price.
-
$150 to $299.99
You keep 60% of the final selling price.
-
$300+
You keep 65% of the final selling price.
Your payout rate is confirmed when we accept the item and stays the same if the gear is later reduced through our normal markdown schedule. Your payout is calculated from the price the item ultimately sells for.
Example: If we accept a tent at a $400 initial listing price, it qualifies for the 65% payout rate. If it later sells for $360, you receive $234.
Submitting an item does not guarantee that Wood Duck will accept it for consignment or purchase.
Any preliminary selling price or purchase offer is based on the information and photos provided. Final acceptance, pricing, and consignment terms are subject to inspecting the gear in person.
We are most interested in clean, complete, functional outdoor gear with meaningful useful life remaining. We generally consign individual items that we expect to list for approximately $50 or more.
What Happens Next?
-
1. We review your submission
We'll look at the item, its condition, and the current resale market to determine whether it may be a good fit for Wood Duck.
-
2. We recommend a price
If we're interested, we'll provide a preliminary recommended listing price and tell you which consignment payout tier it qualifies for.
-
3. We inspect the gear
We'll arrange to see the item in person and confirm its condition, initial selling price, payout rate, and consignment details.
-
4. We handle the rest
Once accepted, we inspect, photograph, list, market, and sell the item. Your payout is arranged after the sale is completed and payment has cleared, in accordance with your consignment agreement.
